Summary and Background Information

 

This item will approve a purchase over $250,000 for twelve (12) marked Police Department vehicles. All twelve units will be Ford Explorers. Ten will be marked and two will be unmarked. They are being purchased through collaborative purchasing from Sill-Terhar Motors Inc. of Broomfield under the current State of Colorado Bid Agreement 201500000000207. $577,900 was budgeted in 2015 for the purchase of these vehicles and for the up-fitting of them with lights, radios, computers, etc.
