Joint City Council and Housing Authority Board Meeting

Summary and Background Information:
During the Council Planning Retreat, the issue of affordable housing was identified as a key issue. As a result, a joint meeting between City Council and the Housing Authority Board was held April 27, 2015 and a follow up meeting was requested to discuss next steps. The joint meeting will begin with a brief recap of the first meeting followed by a discussion about the next phase of a housing strategic plan, their previous efforts, and some discussion about future efforts. At that point, a dialog will occur between the City Council and Housing Authority members regarding desired outcomes and goals, areas of focus, and potential projects.
