Each August, Commerce City recognizes employees for their service to our community. The proclamation is an opportunity for city council members to participate in the month-long festivities, recognizing the contributions of our 600 full-time, variable hour and seasonal employees to council's vision of a quality community for a lifetime. This year, the city will recognize 39 employees who have reached service milestones at a barbecue lunch, including:
