Summary and Background Information:
Staff has heard the desires of Council and the citizens of Commerce City to be highly involved with planning and design of the new and existing recreation centers. The purpose of this workshop is:
1. Provide an overview of the Recreation Centers and Second Creek Infrastructure project management approach and Schedule
2. Provide an overview of facility programming
a. What is it?
b. Why are we doing this?
3. Hold a facilitated workshop to share input from the CIP CAC /PRG Advisory Board and gain input from the Council on the following topics.
a. Critical Success Factors for the Recreation Centers
b. Public Engagement
c. Design and Construction Industry Engagement
4. Review next steps for the Recreation Centers and Second Creek Infrastructure Projects
