AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2015 BUDGET OF THE CITY OF COMMERCE CITY, COLORADO BY THE RECOGNITION OF THE ADAMS COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $165,000 FOR THE DERBY INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT AND THE AUTHORIZATION OF THE EXPENDITURE THEREOF.

Summary and Background Information: The city signed an IGA with the Adams County Board of Commissioners that provides participation in the Adams County Community Development Block Grant allocation. Adams County received the CDBG entitlement funds which are then allocated to the partner cities based on population and census tract numbers. Funds will be used to reconstruct and improve curb ramps to improve ADA accessibility and walkability throughout the Derby business district.
