Recognition of American Concrete Pavement Association's Award for Excellence to Commerce City
Body
Summary and Background Information:  The American Concrete Pavement Association Colorado/Wyoming Chapter was formed in 1984 by members of the concrete pavement industry who had an interest in promoting the quality and quantity of concrete pavement in both Colorado and Wyoming. The Association is supported by companies in the industry who are contractors, cement suppliers, ready mix suppliers, materials suppliers, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, and many others.

At its annual awards ceremony last month, Commerce City's 96th Avenue Project received the Award for Excellence for Municipal Streets & Intersections less than 30,000 square-yard.  With 96th Avenue expected to open to traffic in early May, the award is shared with city council and public works department staff tonight to recognize their support and work on the project.
