Summary and Background Information: Commerce City has been recognized as a "Tree City USA" by the National Arbor Day Foundation for the 24th consecutive year. This is a testament to the city's promotion and interest in planting of trees in residential areas, as well as city-owned parks, trails and open space. The Urban Community Forester, Keith Wood will present the award to the Mayor and City Council.
