Summary and Background Information: The Commerce City Revised Municipal Code was recently amended to replace the citizen board serving as the city's liquor authority with a hearing officer. A request for qualifications for a hearing officer was published and the city received a number of qualified applicants. After reviewing the qualifications and fees, staff is recommending the appointment of Teresa Ablao to serve as the city's liquor authority.
