Title
AN ORDINANCE REVISING SECTION 2-3002 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE FOR THE DERBY REVIEW BOARD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE DERBY PUD AMENDMENT NO. 2
Body
Summary and Background Information:

The Derby PUD Zone Document includes the authority and structure of the Derby Review Board.  This Board was established to review new development within the Derby Downtown District to ensure that the standards within the Derby PUD and the Derby Design Guidelines were fulfilled.  The Derby Review Board was initially created in 2007 as part of the original Derby PUD Zone Document.
The proposed amendment to the Derby PUD Zone Document removes the authority and structure of the Derby Review Board from the zoning document and places it into the Municipal Code along with other boards and commissions.  This amendment was proposed by the city's legal staff in order to keep all of the requirements together for the city's boards and commissions.  Ordinance 2043 establishes the powers of the Derby Review Board along with the structure and quorum requirements.  This ordinance does not remove any powers from the Derby Review Board, but rather creates consistency among the City's Boards and Commissions.
