Title
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2015 BUDGET OF THE CITY OF COMMERCE CITY, COLORADO BY THE RECOGNITION OF THE ADAMS COUNTY OPEN SPACE GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $518,281 TO BE USED FOR THE OUTDOOR LEISURE POOL AT PIONEER PARK PROJECT AND THE AUTHORIZATION OF THE EXPENDITURE THEREOF.
Body
Summary and Background Information: Funding for this project will complete the final phase of Pioneer Park, as identified through public outreach in 2006. The primary components of the project include an entry building, kiddie pool leisure pool, sport/lap pool, lazy river and slide complex. Due to timing of the construction contract award, project contingency budgets were drawn upon to include all these elements. Recognition of these grant funds will enable the contingency budgets to be replenished. The total outdoor leisure pool budget will be increased by $518,281; however, the total amount of 2k funding for the project will remain the same. After the completion of the project, any remaining project contingency will be reallocated to the 2k program.
