Americans are victims of more than 22 million crimes each year, and these crimes can leave a lasting physical, emotional or financial impact on people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. The aftermath of a crime has an affect on family members, friends, neighbors and co-workers. By recognizing National Crime Victims' Rights Week, Commerce City is reaffirming its commitment to respect and support those victims, through the work of the Commerce City Police Department's Victim Services Unit.
