Summary and Background Information:  Commerce City has been recognized as a "Tree City USA" by the National Arbor Day Foundation for the 23rd consecutive year.  This is a testament to the city's promotion and interest in planting of trees in residential areas, as well as city-owned parks, trails and open space.
To celebrate and promote Arbor Day this year, parks and recreation department staff will be:
- Handing out seedlings and an educational brochure on the Emerald Ash Borer at the April 21st City Council meeting.
