Summary and Background Information:
Funding for this project is available as a result of initiative 2K passed on November 5, 2013. The Outdoor Leisure Pool is one of five projects the City is committed to completing within the next five years. The location of the project is at the Pioneer Park site located at 5950 Holly Street. The City issued an RFP on February 28 and required a mandatory pre-submission meeting March 6, 2014. Although representatives from five firms attended the pre-submission meeting/site inspection tour, only one proposal was received on March 17, 2014 from Ohlson Lavoie Collaborative. A staff team consisting of representatives for Parks & Recreation, Finance and the City Manager's Office evaluated the proposal and make recommendation for award.
