Summary and Background Information: In recognition of the role Commerce City citizens played in the passage of Issue 2K in November 2013, city council approved establishing and administratively implementing a Capital Improvement Project Citizen Advisory Committee to advise the city on matters relating to the implementation of the voter approved 2K ballot initiative. Upon legal review of the committee's formation guidelines and in keeping in conformity with the city charter, it was determined to formally establish the committee by council resolution.
