Title

A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MINIMUM BUDGETARY FUNDING FOR THE BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS OF THE CITY OF COMMERCE CITY

Body

Summary and Background Information

At the June 20, 2022 regular meeting City Council increased all specified boards and commissions' budgets by $10,000 dollars. After further budgetary research was conducted, staff identified a disproportionate allocation of funds among the boards and commissions. Staff presented the finding to the City Council at the September 19, 2022 budget retreat, which amended it's direction to give all of the specified boards and commissions a budget of $12,500 and moving forward all new boards and commissions a initial budget of $5,000.
