Summary and Background Information:

· There is no sidewalk on the north side of East 120^th Avenue between Peoria Street and Prairie View High School for children to walk to school if they desire.

· The City of Brighton, School District 27J, and the City of Commerce City have teamed up to address the sidewalk issue on East 120^th Avenue.

· The City of Brighton will acquire the necessary easement and construct a temporary asphalt sidewalk.

· The City of Commerce City will pay for the sidewalk.

· School District 27J will maintain the sidewalk to include snow removal until such time as the adjacent property develops and the sidewalk is removed and replaced with a permanent sidewalk.
