RESOLUTION APPROVING CITY OF LONE TREE REQUEST FOR AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP IN E-470 PUBLIC HIGHWAY AUTHORITY

Summary and Background Information:
1. On April 13, 2012. the E-470 Public Highway Authority received a request from the City of Lone Tree to join the authority as an affiliate member.
2. Approval by the City of Commerce City as a voting member of the E-470 Public Highway Authority is required in order for the application of the City of Lone Tree to be granted.
3. The board of directors of the E-470 Public Highway Authority has recommended that the City of Lone Tree be approved for affiliate membership upon payment of the membership fee in the amount of $12,500
By approving the proposed resolution, the City of Commerce City consents to the affiliate membership of the City of Lone Tree.
