The purpose of this resolution is to authorize the Mayor to execute a sanitary sewer easement on City property near the Bison Ridge Recreation Center to the South Adams Water & Sanitation District (SACWSD) for the operation and maintenance of a sanitary sewer line to serve the Turnberry 7 residential development
Summary & Background
Turnberry Filing 7 is going through the plan development process. The plat was posted for approval. There is a portion of the subdivision’s sanitary sewer system needing to connect into an existing SACWSD sanitary sewer line located on City owned property near the Bison Ridge Recreation Center (See Project Map).
The dedication of this sanitary sewer easement to SACW&SD will allow the installation, maintenance, and operation of the sewer line. The developer’s contractor will install the sanitary sewer line, and once accepted by SACW&SD, the sewer line will be owned and maintained by SACW&SD. The easement will not be executed until the Turnberry 7 plat is approved and filed.
