Body
Summary and Background Information:
Mr. James Parent owns the property located at 8600 Verbena Street and operates his business (JBS Pipeline) at the subject property. Mr. Parent is making two requests for approval.
1. Approval of a rezoning request from the current Agriculture (AG) zoning designation to an I-2 (Medium-Intensity Industrial) designation.
2. Approval of a consolidation plat in order to plat the lot into a lot and block legal description and dedicate public right-of-way.

The applicant is requesting to rezone the subject property from the current Agriculture designation to an I-2 designation in order to legally operate their contractor's yard and have outdoor storage. The I-2 zone district is the least intense zoning designation that would allow for these uses. In addition, the applicant is requesting to consolidate the property on which they operate their business in order to create a lot and block description and dedicate public right-of-way.
