Summary and Background Information:
Council passed Resolution No. 2024-133 on December 16, 2024, permitting the City Manager to negotiate and enter into a contract with Jaggaer, LLC to implement Jaggaer’s software-as-a-service and related services for contract management and sourcing software.
City management has since successfully negotiated and entered into a contract with Jaggaer, LLC. The cost to implement Jaggaer’s software-as-a-service and related services in 2025 is $172,000. This cost was not included in the Adopted 2025 Budget, however, sufficient General Fund Unencumbered Fund Balance exists to enact this proposed 2025 budget amendment. Ongoing annual subscription costs for Jaggaer will be included in the Information Technology Department’s base budget for 2026 and beyond.
