A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO MASTER SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CORE CONSULTANTS

Summary and Background Information:
This resolution amends the Master Services Agreement with CORE Consultants, Inc. to provide the city with professional planning and development reviews and technical support services. This is an option that the City provides developers to ensure consistent review times when the number of projects under review exceeds city staff capacity. The actual charges are paid to the City by the applicants. The City then provides a payment to CORE Consultants, Inc., minus a five percent (5%) administrative fee.The City approved the vendor selection on November 18, 2021 (see Attachment #1 Master Professional Services Agreement (MSA) for reference). The consultant has been a good partner and has worked with City staff and developers effectively and efficiently
This amendment will change the original contract amount from $250,000 to $360,000 and extend the termination date from November 30, 2024, to December 31, 2024. This increase will have no fiscal impact on the City since the actual cost is borne by the applicants. All remaining terms and conditions of the original Agreement shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
