Summary and Background Information

Section 2-2001 of the Commerce City Revised Municipal Code (the “Code”) describes the times, place, and number of regular meetings of the City Council. This ordinance will decrease the number of regular meetings to two a month, and increase the number of study sessions to twice a month. Council may still move as a body to change the location or time. Council wishes to provide for additional study sessions in order to allow for more discussion on items prior to taking those to a regular meeting for formal action.
