Summary & Background

The applicant is requesting approval for the annexation of approximately 34 acres of land addressed as 10070 Potomac Street. The property to be annexed is owned by Robert B. Stephen, Darlene A. Thompson, Ronald P. Eberly, Edward L. Eberly, Esther M. Richardson, Loretta I. Stephen, and Marilyn L. Steckel. It will be developed as a single-family residential neighborhood in conformance with the City’s Comprehensive Plan. A vicinity map has been included for the specific location. All of the property is currently zoned with an Adams County Agriculture-3 (A-3) zoning designation and is requested to be rezoned to Commerce City Planned Unit Development (PUD) via annexation zoning case Z-971-21-22, which is being processed concurrently. The public hearing for this annexation case is scheduled for May 16, 2022. The petition has been reviewed and accepted by the city staff.
