RESOLUTION APPROVING INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE SOUTH ADAMS COUNTY WATER AND SANITATION DISTRICT REGARDING SECOND CREEK INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS

Summary and Background Information: The purpose of this resolution is to include the South Adams County Water & Sanitation District's future 24-inch irrigation arterial line along 112th Avenue and 12-inch irrigation line on Potomac Street as part of the city's Second Creek Infrastructure Project. These improvements are consistent with the District's master plan and constructing them simultaneously with the city's project improves efficiency and system operations for the district. The change order (Res 2016-128) authorizes the change order for the CM/GC to proceed with project implementation, where the city is paying for the lateral connections consistent with its right-of-way agreement with Fullenwider, LLC and Shea Homes ($26,743.88) out of project contingency. This IGA authorizes the construction payment ($908,227) and process between the City and the District.
