Summary and Background Information:
The South Adams County Water and Sanitation District (SACWSD) owns an easement under 104th Avenue in the vicinity of the project area to transport water to the district's Tanabe surface water storage facility. This change order includes work to install a raw water pipeline in the 104th Avenue right-of-way to replace the easement. Staff has been working with SACWSD staff on the design of the pipeline for several months. Because the design was not yet complete at the time of project bidding, installation of the water line was not included in the base bid; however, funds were included in the project budget to cover these costs.
