Summary and Background Information:
David Lucas from the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge (RMANWR) will be presenting an update to Council on the Master Plan process for the Refuge. The Master Plan will update the purpose, vision, and goals for the Refuge as well as address wildlife and habitat management; visitor services; partnerships; communications and outreach; research, inventory, and monitoring; and operations and infrastructure. The Master Plan update will also include an environmental impact assessment (EIS). City Staff has actively participated in the update process as part of the planning team.
