Summary and Background Information:
Monica Buhlig and Brian Hlavacek from Adams County Health Department will be providing an overview of some current work at the new health department including leadership staffing, partnerships and community engagement, the health department’s Community Health Improvement Plan process, and health equity work. Additionally, several environmental health topics will be discussed including the Rocky Mountain Arsenal Program, Tower Landfill oversight, air quality including the Love My Air Program and opportunities to work with Commerce City and ongoing water quality work related to PFAS.
