Summary and Background Information:
Funds were allocated in the 2021 CIP budget in the Preservation account for the replacement of the shelters and playground at Monaco Park. It was determined that a complete renovation of the park is needed so additional funds were identified and all funds ($640,000) were consolidated into a separate CIP account - General Park Improvements. An Adams County Open Space grant in the amount of $960,000 was received bringing the total available for the project to $1,600,000. An RFP for the design and construction drawings is currently being drafted.
