Summary and Background Information:
President Jimmy Carter proclaimed this national day in 1978, and The United States Government has designated September 28th of each year as National Good Neighbor Day; we encourage the residents of this City to make a special effort on this day to get to know and appreciate their neighbors.
Commerce City’s Code Enforcement Division is celebrating National Good Neighbor Day by visiting with community members and handing out resources and a gift. Code Enforcement aims to maintain and improve the safety and appearance of all properties in the city.
Code Enforcement will be at the following locations on Thursday, Sept. 28, between 8 and 10 a.m. or 3 and 5 p.m.
• Eagle Pointe Recreation Center, 6060 Parkway Dr.
• Belle Creek Family Center, 10693 Belle Creek Blvd.
• Bison Ridge Recreation Center, 13905 E. 112th Ave.
• Reunion Coffee House, 10601 Reunion Parkway
