RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF PUBLIC ART PROJECT FOR FAIRFAX PARK

Summary and Background Information: The Commerce City Cultural Council will be presenting information regarding the Public Art project and the Selection Committee's successful candidate for the public art project to be installed in Fairfax Park. Additionally, Cultural Council will be requesting City Council's adoption of the Resolution in support of this project. Anticipated installation will be in Spring 2014.

Staff Recommendation: City Council's adoption of Resolution 2013-61 in support of the public art project "Determination" by Joshua Wiener, to be placed in Fairfax Park, selected in accordance with the City's Public Art Master Plan.
Suggested Motion: I move to adopt Resolution 2013-61 in support of the public art project titled "Determination" by artist, Joshua Wiener, for placement in Fairfax Park as a part of the City's Public Art Master Plan.
