Summary and Background Information:  
The City is requesting approval of an ordinance correcting the legal description for the zone change request of the property located at 6771 E. 80th Avenue.  The annexation and annexation zoning were reviewed by Planning Commission on May 7, 2013, and approved by City Council on June 3, 2013.  Upon recording the documents at Adams County, the error in the legal description was identified.
 
As background, the applicant requested to zone the subject property from C-3 in Adams County to C-3 within Commerce City.  Along with the request to zone the subject property, there was a request by the applicant to annex the subject property into the city.  The applicant requested the property annexation case #AN-230-13-13 and the concurrent zone change in order to expand their church operation in the future. No other changes are requested by this ordinance.  The C-3 zoning and allowed uses all remain the same from what was approved on June 3, 2013. This is simply an administrative correction to ensure the correct legal description is approved and recorded for the zoning.
