Summary and Background Information:
Section 21.12 of the City Charter requires the City to keep a permanent panel of at least three arbitrators to decide unresolved issues between the City and the employee organization. Two of the arbitrators appointed to the panel in 2000 are now deceased. Therefore, it is necessary to appoint two new arbitrators to the panel.
