Summary and Background Information: The Legislative budget shows a line item for $120,000 to go to the Quality Community Foundation (QCF) to be used for the Non-City Agency grant program. The QCF board announces the opening of the grant cycle, provides guidelines and training to potential grantees, and receives grant applications requesting these funds. The QCF board then reviews and scores the applications according to the guidelines provided to the grantee, then awards funds as appropriate. This year the QCF received requests totaling $272,690. The check presentation scheduled for April 1, 2013
