Citizen Commendation Certificates presented by the Police Department

According to Police Department Policy 1.30.16 - Citizen's Certificate of Commendation, the Citizen's Certificate of Commendation will be presented, by the chief of police, to a commendable citizen whose action furthers the police mission. The commendable action may be documented by any member of the department and is forwarded to the commendations board for appropriate investigation and action.
