Summary and Background Information:
The Commerce City Information Technology Department are seeking to enter into contract with American Traffic Solutions, Inc DBA Verra Mobility, for the use of Automatic Identification System-Traffic Enforcement.
The costs for this project are included in the funding sources as outlined below along with an outline of revenue generated and returned to the City. The Police Department has partnered with Verra for over 10 years to provide automatic vehicle identification system (AVIS) services throughout the City to detect traffic violations utilizing digital technologies to assist the City in achieving increased traffic safety. Continuing to partner with Verra provides a full-service automatic vehicle identification system (AVIS) capable of red light camera enforcement and/or speed radar detection which improves overall traffic safety and preserves life and property within the City of Commerce City.

The City has conducted an RFP process in accordance with the City's procurement policy.
