Summary & Background:
Council Policy #2 provides for Council committees, and that appointment to such committees will be made pursuant to Council Policy #3. Council Policy #3 states that Council will appoint members to the various boards and commissions during its organizational meeting to be held on the second Monday after the certification of the election.
Council Policy 2 and 3 are attached. Additionally, a list of all the available board and commission appointments are attached for Council to review ahead of the meeting. In order to provide for an efficient meeting, please come prepared with a list of boards and commission on which you wish to serve so Council can determine appointments during the November 29 organizational meeting.
