RESOLUTION CANCELLING CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS THAT FALL ON OFFICIALLY SCHEDULED CITY HOLIDAYS

Commerce City's Home Rule Charter enables City Council to change the time and place of any particular meeting by motion or resolution. Secion 2-2001 of the municipal code sets the time and place for regular meetings and study sessions. Historically, a resolution is adopted on an annual basis to efficiently cancel a number of meetings that conflict with the city's official holiday schedule.
