Summary and Background Information:
On April 1, 2019, Councilmember Crystal Elliott resigned from office as a councilperson elected at-large. It is necessary, pursuant to the provisions of the City Charter, for the City Council to decide if a vacancy exists and to appoint an eligible person to fill such vacancy. Council Policy #21 establishes a process for filling a vacancy on the City Council.
