Summary & Background
The City and Mile High Flood District (MHFD) have entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) Regarding Final Design, Right-of-Way Acquisition and Construction for Drainage and Flood Control Improvements for Irondale Gulch at Highway 2. The parties have previously amended the IGA twice, and desire to enter into a third amendment to increase the level of funding by $600,000. The increased funding is to support design services, right-of-way acquisition, and construction of drainage and flood control improvements.

Financial Impact: The total of this Agreement is $2,000,000. MHFD is contributing $1,000,000, Commerce City is contributing $1,000,000. This Amendment adds $600,000 with $300,000 from MHFD and $300,000 from Commerce City
Funding Source: Funds are appropriated with the 2024 Capital Investment Program
