Summary and Background Information:
The 2019 budget has been prepared for the public's information in preparation for the public hearing opened on October 15, 2018 and continued to November 5, 2018 for board's consideration at the meeting on November 5, 2018.
The attached presentation gives a summary of the 2019 budget, which is balanced as required by law.
During the 2018 budget process the decision was made to reduce the mill levy to 10 mills for three years, 15 mills for two years, and return the mill levy to 27 mills starting in 2023 when the Sable Altura mill levy drops to 10 mills.
