Summary and Background Information: Commerce City joined LiveWell Colorado's HEAL Cities & Towns Campaign in 2013, establishing a commitment to enhance access to healthy eating and active living (HEAL) for residents in Commerce City. As part of the work completed last year by the city's HEAl committee, LiveWell Colorado reviewed investments made by Commerce City over the last two years against the program criteria. LiveWell Colorado is here to recognize the city's advancement in the HEAL campaign and its designation as the first city in the state to reach "Elite" program status.
