Summary and Background Information:  

Resolution 2014-05 amended Council Policy #CP-2, paragraph D, by providing that the Legislative Committee and the Boards and Commissions Committee were to be organized in 2014 on a six-month trial basis.

This City Council has reviewed the effects of having the two newly-organized council committees on a trial basis.

This City Council is of the opinion that formation on a permanent basis of the two council committees provided for in Resolution No. 2014-05 will be in the best interests of the citizens of the City of Commerce City.
