RESOLUTION CANCELLING CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS THAT FALL ON OFFICIALLY SCHEDULED CITY HOLIDAYS

Commerce City's Home Rule Charter enables City Council to change the time and place of any particular meeting by motion or resolution. Secion 2-2001 of the municipal code sets the time and place for regular meeting. Historically, a resolution is adopted on an annual baisis to efficiently cancel a number of meetings that conflicet with the city's official holiday schedule.

Staff recommends that City Council approve Resolution 2012-98 to efficiently cancel all meeting that conflict with the city's official holiday schedule.
