Summary and Background Information: 

Council previously received a presentation and memo detailing an overview of the franchise renewal process. The City Attorney has retained specialized outside counsel to represent the City in the process. During this session, Council will need to provide initial direction and negotiating instructions to Staff and outside counsel as the negotiation process begins.
