Recognition of Commerce City Historical Society Coloring Book Winners

Summary and Background Information: The Commerce City Historical Society's annual coloring book program is an opportunity to teach elementary school students within Commerce City about the city's history. All second grade students within the two school districts received a coloring book April 14-15, 2016. All second graders could submit completed entry pages in the coloring contest by May 2, 2016. Entries were picked up at each school and judged by members of the historical society. An art show and reception will be held in the civic center lobby prior to the council meeting. Winners will be recognized by council during the meeting. See attached listing of winners by school.
