RESOLUTION REGARDING POSTING LOCATIONS FOR ORDINANCES AND PUBLIC MEETINGS

Summary and Background Information:
The Colorado Open Meetings Law declares that the public cannot exercise its right to attend open meetings unless provided sufficient notice. The statute requires annual notificaiton of a public place or places for posting such notices within the boundaries of the local public body. Commerce City's Home Rule Charter directs Council to designate six (6) public places for posting ordinances. The locations are identified in the body of the resolution.

By approving Resolution 2013-77, City Council will identify the city's official posting locations
