Summary and Background Information:
The applicant, Public Service Company of Colorado, is requesting to annex the subject property (Western 1/3) into Commerce City. The western 1/3 section of the property is currently within unincorporated Adams County and has a county zoning designation of Agricultural. The remaining 2/3 section of the parcel is currently incorporated into Commerce City and is zoned Agricultural. Along with the request to annex the subject property, there is a request by the applicant to zone the newly annexed land to Commerce City Planned Unit Development (PUD). At this time, the applicant is proceeding with the property annexation and the concurrent zoning case Z-906-14. No new development or construction is planned for this parcel.
