Summary and Background Information:
Beginning with the 2016-2017 program year, the city became a direct recipient of funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.
The City of Commerce City was granted FY 2024 CDBG funds in the amount of $409,823. This funding is used for public services, public works, economic development, housing rehabilitation, and/or administration costs.
The funds will be spent based on previously approved plans by City Council. The CDBG funding will be allotted in each category per HUD regulations.
