During the early morning hours of July 20, a senseless act of violence occurred in the City of Aurora, resulting in 70 victims, including 12 fatalities. At the request of the mayor, the attached proclamation honors the victims, recognizes the work of numerous emergency responders, hospitals and strangers, as well as the efforts of our sister municipality in responding to the crisis.
