A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT TO TYLER TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE PURCHASE AND USE OF BRAZOS E-TICKETING SOFTWARE AND RELATED SERVICES

Summary and Background Information:
The Commerce City Information Technology Department is seeking to enter into a new contract with Tyler Technologies Inc, for the Brazos eTicketing software and related hardware and services to support the Commerce Police Department. The Commerce City PD uses this software and hardware as a critical function of their daily operations. Since 2019, this solution has provided direct integrations with many other Police and Courts systems to support the efforts of the city. Commerce City IT and the Police Department believe it is in the best interest to continue to use this system for their daily operations, while adopting many of the new features and tools offered by this vendor. The Tyler Brazos eCitation Software and Hardware support the Commerce City Council goal of High-Performing Government by the adoption of the new mobile application, and integrating this solution with the new Records Management System.
Solicitation Activity: The acting City Manager approved a single source waiver.
